"People Who Have Changed the World "

Essay & Mini-Documentary

For the past few weeks, students have been learning about the fearless, brave individuals who have made a difference in the world of slavery, women's suffrage, child labor, and segregation.  Students each developed an in depth research essay and used pieces of their work to help their group build the narrative for the documentary script.  The groups learned how to use iMovie on our classroom iPads and researched the social issues within their essays to find images that correspond to provide visual interest to their work.  

The essays and documentaries are wonderful examples of the 

great learning going on here at Fall Brook!
